Our vision is for people with disabilities to be fully participating members of the community.

At The Arc of the Piedmont, we improve the quality of life of infants, children and adults with, or at risk of intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the lives of their families, through service, advocacy and education. We have been serving our clients in the city of Charlottesville and the surrounding counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson since 1954. The Arc of the Piedmont provides service, advocacy and education to over 150 families, infants, children and adults with a wide range of support needs due to intellectual, developmental and other disabilities.
